Overview: Biddeford Schools is on the lookout for a dedicated Preschool Speech Language Therapist (CCC/CF-SLP) to join our collaborative team. We are committed to enhancing the communication skills of preschool-aged children in their natural learning environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide specialized speech and language services to children aged 3-5 in preschool settings.
  2. Collaborate with local Child Development Services to ensure children are prepared for their transition to Kindergarten.
  3. Engage with clients during a crucial phase of their speech and language development.
  4. Work alongside a supportive team of experienced Speech Language Pathologists.

Qualifications:

  • A valid Speech Pathologist license issued by the Maine State Board of Examiners in Speech Pathology and Audiology.
  • Completion of a Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) with fingerprints on file.
  • A Master’s Degree in Speech/Language Pathology and a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology.

Experience: Previous experience working with preschool-aged children is preferred but not mandatory.
