Collaborate with customers to evaluate service effectiveness.
Utilize automated repair estimation systems to generate job hour estimates.
Lead a team of technicians to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
Drive sales of pre-owned harvesters, gondolas, and picking equipment.
Coordinate transportation logistics for equipment as necessary.
Prioritize safety as the foremost concern.
Ensure adherence to safe work practices among service personnel.
Conduct bi-weekly safety meetings to reinforce safety protocols.
Verify that all service staff have received the required driver training.
Supervise a team of five employees.
Execute supervisory duties in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
Engage in the recruitment, hiring, and training of new employees.
Plan, assign, and oversee work; evaluate performance; recognize and address employee issues; manage complaints and resolve conflicts.
Qualifications:
Minimum of five years of progressive experience in servicing grape harvesters and nut tree shakers.
Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical institution, or equivalent experience.
Proficient in reading and interpreting safety regulations, operational and maintenance guidelines, and procedural manuals.
Capable of composing routine reports and correspondence.
Effective communication skills for presenting information to groups of customers or employees.
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is highly advantageous.
