Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-home appliance repairs and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with major appliances, including refrigeration, cooking, and laundry equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service and communication to resolve customer concerns and issues.
- Operate assigned service van to repair locations and manage inventory of parts and supplies.
- Record all activities related to repairs, routes, and other activities to ensure accurate reporting and data analysis.
- Attend training sessions and meetings to expand knowledge and stay up-to-date on industry developments.
- Manage maintenance and stock inventory of assigned service van to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment to prevent accidents and injuries.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- 1+ years of experience in appliance repair, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or property maintenance.
- Ability to diagnose and repair major appliances, including refrigeration, cooking, and laundry equipment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with some Saturdays as needed.
- Valid state driver's license and successful completion of background check, physical, and drug screen required.
- CFC Certification within 6 months of hire date.
- Ability to wear uniform and maintain standards of personal grooming and appearance consistent with company values.
- Self-directed and solid team player with ability to deescalate situations and rebuild customer confidence in our products.
Preferred Qualifications
- 6+ months of experience with refrigeration repair.
- CFC Certified.
- Certification in appliance repair or Associate's degree preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and other service information.
