Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-home appliance repairs and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with major appliances, including refrigeration, cooking, and laundry equipment.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication to resolve customer concerns and issues.
  • Operate assigned service van to repair locations and manage inventory of parts and supplies.
  • Record all activities related to repairs, routes, and other activities to ensure accurate reporting and data analysis.
  • Attend training sessions and meetings to expand knowledge and stay up-to-date on industry developments.
  • Manage maintenance and stock inventory of assigned service van to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment to prevent accidents and injuries.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
  • 1+ years of experience in appliance repair, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or property maintenance.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair major appliances, including refrigeration, cooking, and laundry equipment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule with some Saturdays as needed.
  • Valid state driver's license and successful completion of background check, physical, and drug screen required.
  • CFC Certification within 6 months of hire date.
  • Ability to wear uniform and maintain standards of personal grooming and appearance consistent with company values.
  • Self-directed and solid team player with ability to deescalate situations and rebuild customer confidence in our products.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6+ months of experience with refrigeration repair.
  • CFC Certified.
  • Certification in appliance repair or Associate's degree preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and other service information.
