Job Summary:
The Stratford Board of Education seeks a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our facilities team as a Part Time Custodian. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our school buildings and grounds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning and maintenance tasks in school buildings and grounds
- Maintain equipment in functional condition
- Provide cleaning and custodial services as needed
- Work collaboratively with the Building Administrator, Director of Facilities, and other team members to ensure a safe and healthy environment for students and staff
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
Working Conditions:
This is a part-time position, approximately 20 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
