Quality Improvement Specialist

The Quality Improvement Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the hospital and medical staff to continually improve patient care, reduce risk, and provide excellent customer service. This position provides support, facilitation, and coordination to support clinical and process improvements throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and maintain quality metrics and reports
  • Provide education and training to staff on quality improvement principles and practices
  • Participate in quality improvement projects and initiatives
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field
  • Active Washington Registered Nurse License
  • 3 years of experience in a healthcare organization
  • Master's Degree preferred
  • Experience with process improvement theories and methods, adult learning principles, and data analysis methods
