Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and implement Quality Control (QC) and Proficiency Testing (PT) procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of technological advances and accreditation requirements related to laboratory operations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to laboratory staff on quality assurance and quality control procedures.
- Develop and implement training programs for laboratory staff on new procedures and equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless laboratory operations and high-quality patient care.
- Bachelor's degree in biological sciences or a related field.
- 5 years of recent relevant experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
- CLSL-Licensed Clinical Lab Scientist certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Experience with laboratory information systems and quality control software.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
