Job Description:

This role supports the Project Manager and Superintendent in managing construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction processes and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

Attend weekly meetings and create detailed meeting minutesInspect construction sites daily and work with subcontractors to schedule deliveriesReview designs and drawings for crafts installing materials and qualificationsResearch and resolve drawing interpretation problems, conflicts, interference, and errorsProcess RFIs, review RFI responses, and follow up as neededUnderstand potential change order (PCO) process, including creation, assembly, and submission to the OwnerMaintain distribution routing of all Submittals, RFIs, Close Out, Punch List, Emergency Logistic Plans, and other document processesReview and track Expediting LogC coordiante submittals between subcontractorsPrepare field design change requisitions and 'as built' drawings, as requiredPrepare and disseminate documentation records, such as status reports, punch lists, sketches, material requirement calculations, etc.Reviews and comments on design viability, conducts value engineering functionsAttends meetings with contractors, subcontractors, clients, or A/E representatives to coordinate design and construction effortsDemonstrates working knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, drawings, specifications, building materials, and required standardsObserves construction work performed in the fieldParticipates in job walks to document and report findings for status updates, potential issues, and concernsGenerates queries and reports in Procore construction softwarePerforms quantity takeoffsEstablishes and completes submittal, project close-out logsAnalyzes and resolves construction process problems and issues effectively communicates with all levels of personnelAbility to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform tasksExcellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skillsWork independently, receiving direction, and quickly learning and applying new skills and abilitiesExercises creativity and resourcefulness in completing tasks accurately within a compressed timeframeHandles varied workload and multiple priorities while working as a team to accomplish company and project goals

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or related field required;
• Minimum one (1) year of experience in the field or related area.
• Strong Excel computer skills with MS Office Suite proficiency
• Working knowledge of Procore or similar construction software, Blueprint reading required
• Working knowledge of scheduling and estimating software, Primavera P6 desired
• Expected annual salary range: $85,000 - $95,000 based on experience
