Position Overview

As a vital member of the Healthy At Home Caregivers team, you will provide essential support to clients in the comfort of their own homes. This role offers flexible scheduling with various shifts available across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

Your duties will include:

  • Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Supporting clients with mobility and exercise routines.
  • Performing household tasks necessary for maintaining a healthy living environment, including meal preparation and light cleaning.
  • Providing medication reminders and reporting any changes in client conditions to the appropriate personnel.
  • Documenting care provided and maintaining accurate client records.
  • Ensuring a safe environment by adhering to infection control practices and reporting any hazards.
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance caregiving skills.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

  • Must be a Registered Home Care Aide (HCA) or willing to obtain registration with our assistance.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • No prior experience is necessary as on-the-job training will be provided.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow a care plan effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
