The Maintenance Mechanic I plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of assigned garage facilities. This position demands a blend of technical, mechanical, and administrative expertise essential for the upkeep of our garage locations. The primary objective is to deliver exceptional customer service while providing on-site and on-call operational support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine visual inspections of garage levels, stairwells, and communal areas, with a focus on lighting and safety systems.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing tenant inquiries and fostering positive relationships.
  • Assist the maintenance team with general upkeep, including repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Carry out basic tasks such as changing light bulbs, clearing drains, and resolving minor issues.
  • Support event setups and assist with construction projects as required.
  • Respond promptly to tenant requests while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Conduct basic checks on fire extinguishers, reset alarms, and ensure cleanliness in common areas.
  • Assist contractors by ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality expectations.
  • Be available for occasional overtime, holiday shifts, and after-hours emergencies.
  • Participate in seasonal tasks, including winterizing outdoor systems and assisting with snow removal.
