Support Worker

The Extended Support Assistant will work in partnership with school staff, parents, carers, and other agencies to provide high-quality support for children and young people with Education Health Care Plans. You will work with learners on a 1:1 basis, supporting them to access their learning and be successful in their school.
We are looking for candidates who:
- Are calm and confident, with a passion for supporting vulnerable learners.
- Are self-motivated and solution-focused.
- Can work well as part of a team and meet the travel requirements of the role.
- Are passionate about supporting children and young people to achieve their potential.
The post is term-time only, and the salary will be pro-rata. The role will be countywide, with a geographical base allocated at either County Hall, Lewes, St Mary's House, Eastbourne, or Cavendish House, Hastings. There is flexibility for some home working as part of a hybrid working model.
