Job Description:

We are a small family-owned and operated construction company in Texas seeking a skilled Residential Estimator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop project schedules from bid documents.
  • Prepare cost estimates and bid documents for construction projects.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of estimates and proposals.
  • Provide conceptual and final estimating input on complex projects.
  • Price general conditions and manpower projections.
  • Write scopes of work and review subcontractor proposals.
  • Obtain and evaluate comparative quotations for materials and services.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of contract structure, business law, and insurance issues.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of construction estimating experience.
  • Able to interpret construction documents and materials.
  • Experience with Hyphen Solutions and ProBuild.
  • Prior construction experience is a plus.

  • Base salary ($65k - $85k) dependent on experience.
