Program Development and Implementation Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Program Development and Implementation Specialist to join our team at the Young Men's Christian Association of Wichita Kansas. This role involves leading the development and implementation of programs that support early education and Kindergarten readiness in Wichita.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field, with a minimum of two years of relevant experience. They will be responsible for program operations, staff/volunteer development, fiscal management, strong community campaign/financial development, and facilities management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing programs that meet the needs of target audiences, including children, parents, and community members
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports, including program evaluations and financial data
  • Recruiting and managing volunteers, as well as supervising program staff and maintaining a positive work environment
  • Ensuring compliance with YMCA policies and procedures, as well as local and national regulations

This role offers a competitive salary, estimated to be around $58,000-$68,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
