Building Maintenance Technician

The City of Florence is seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Technician to join its Public Services Department. This role is a vital part of the department's mission to maintain and improve the city's facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform snow removal and other maintenance tasks
- Operate specialty equipment such as bucket trucks and scissor lifts
- Provide excellent customer service
- Perform basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC tasks
- Repair and maintain signs throughout the city
- Manage assigned tasks and generate daily reports
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain a Class A CDL license within six months. They will also possess strong problem-solving skills, be able to work safely, and have the ability to perform heavy manual labor in adverse weather conditions.
