Job Overview

Objective: This role is pivotal in overseeing all Retail Fulfillment initiatives, ensuring each project is completed successfully while setting, communicating, and maintaining production objectives. The position involves gathering essential requirements for all Retail Fulfillment projects and managing the workflow from inception to completion, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project forecasting conducted by project coordinators.
  • Manage and mentor direct reports, specifically Project Coordinator(s).
  • Provide training and development for Project Coordinator(s).
  • Monitor the entire production process of projects.
  • Ensure a seamless flow of production activities.
  • Design, implement, and execute project strategies.
  • Engage with customers through regular calls and emails.
  • Address escalations for project coordinators effectively.

Additional Duties:

  • Calculate and analyze production metrics.
  • Step in as a Project Coordinator when necessary.
  • Generate project quotes for clients.
  • Utilize critical and creative thinking to address unforeseen challenges during project execution.
  • Maintain key project documentation, including creation, organization, and retention.
  • Facilitate escalated communications to customer service.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields or 3-5 years of experience in Fulfillment, including:
    • Project Management
    • Business Management
    • Information Systems
  • Proficient in WMS software.
  • Competent in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access Database.

Language Proficiency:

  • English – Required (Written/Oral).
  • Spanish – Preferred (Written/Oral).

Reasoning Skills:

  • Ability to solve practical problems and manage various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization. Capable of interpreting diverse instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formats. Skilled in identifying the root cause of issues and determining corrective actions.

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasional lifting/moving of up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Proficient in using phone systems and keyboards.
  • Effective communication skills, particularly in public speaking.
  • Regular indoor/office work environment, requiring sitting and repetitive hand motions.
  • Frequent talking, hearing, standing, and walking.
  • Capability to work over 8 continuous hours when necessary.
  • Ability to work under pressure, maintain accuracy, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Visual acuity to read and discern various media with 20/20 corrected vision.
  • Clear communication over telephones.
  • Good physical health as determined by a licensed physician, with no evidence of controlled substance use.

Work Environment:

  • Combination of office and operational settings, with occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts and airborne particles. Noise levels may vary from quiet to moderately loud.
