Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable NEMT Driver to join our team at Wellness Transport of Georgia LLC. As a NEMT Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and secure transport of clients to medical appointments and treatments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport clients to appointments and treatments using company vehicles, maintaining a safe and secure environment.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch for schedule updates and instructions.
  • Uphold a professional demeanor with clients and coworkers, providing excellent customer service.
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness standards.
  • Assist clients safely in entering and exiting vehicles and reaching their destinations.
  • Operate GPS and transportation apps efficiently, ensuring timely arrivals.
  • Document trips accurately for departmental records and billing.
  • Ensure the transport vehicle is clean, fueled, and equipped with necessary supplies.
  • Adhere to Georgia Code and department guidelines for vehicle operation.
  • Employ proper lifting techniques and ensure client comfort and safety.
Requirements
  • A clean 7-year Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with NO moving violations in the last 3 years.
  • Valid driver's license with no suspensions.
  • Clean background check and ability to pass a drug screen.
  • Previous customer service experience with a track record of reliability and punctuality.
  • Passionate about assisting others with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in NEMT and ability to manage stress and multitask efficiently.
  • Availability to work flexible hours between 5:30 AM and 7:00 PM.
  • Must live within 20 miles of Johns Creek, Georgia.
  • BLS or CPR w/ AED certification.
  • CTAA PASS Certified.
  • Q'Straint Wheelchair Securement Certified.
