We are a leading provider of plasma-based therapies, and we are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist Technician to join our team.

Job Summary

This is a part-time position, 20 hours/week, requiring a high school diploma or equivalent and a current license or certification in the state where duties will be assigned. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, screening donors, and collecting plasma.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to donors, answering phones and greeting donors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Screen new and repeat donors, taking and recording donor vital signs and finger stick results.
  • Use our Donor Information System to prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
  • Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes as needed.
  • Work in a fast-paced team environment, ensuring a clean and professional work environment, attending team meetings, and problem-solving with management.
  • Be dependable and work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays and Sundays, and holidays.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current license or certification in the state where duties will be assigned.
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
  • Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in food service, retail, hospital, lab, or a regulated environment.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced workplace.
