Role Responsibilities:
The Pipeline Leak Detection Specialist will play a crucial role in assessing the sensitivity of liquid pipelines to leaks and enhancing various detection technologies. This position requires a deep understanding of hydraulics, automation, statistical methods, and SCADA systems.

The successful candidate will:

  • Support and maintain hydraulic models and leak detection technologies for liquid pipelines.
  • Design, assess, and document modifications for leak detection systems.
  • Provide expert consultation and project assistance for real-time computational monitoring.
  • Analyze leak detection performance to identify and implement improvement strategies.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and optimization of leak detection systems.
  • Oversee Control Center metrics, performance reporting, and compliance documentation.
  • Train operational staff in diagnosing deviations and identifying leaks.
  • Assist with field projects that influence leak detection systems.
  • Optimize costs related to electrical and DRA operations.
  • Adhere to industry standards and recommended practices.

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical).
  • A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.
  • Expertise in hydraulics, automation, leak detection technologies, modeling software, statistical analysis, and SCADA systems.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and safety standards related to pipeline operations.
