Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Android Engineer to join our team. As a proficient developer, you will play a pivotal role in crafting intuitive, secure, and high-performance native Android applications that seamlessly integrate with blockchain networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain highly responsive, visually appealing Android applications using Kotlin, Android SDK, and Jetpack Compose.
  • Work closely with our product and design team to conceptualize and implement new features in Figma that enhance user experience and drive engagement within Android applications.
  • Collaborate closely with blockchain developers to integrate efficient data querying using GraphQL or other relevant technologies.
  • Implement Android-compatible web3 technologies to enable blockchain functionalities like transactions, wallet connections, and smart contract interactions within the DApps.
  • Uphold application performance, quality, and responsiveness standards, ensuring code integrity and organization throughout the Android development process.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in blockchain technology, Android development, and security protocols to continuously enhance the product's functionality and security.
  • Create Unit and UI-tests and a smooth CI/CD flow for internal/external testing and production releases.
  • Communicate with the Play Store representatives to ensure a smooth and timely release of the app every time an update is pushed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Kotlin, Android SDK, and Jetpack Compose with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Android development.
  • Demonstrated expertise in building Android applications, including interaction with backends and databases (GraphQL experience is a plus).
  • Familiarity with Android-compatible blockchain interaction libraries such as KEthereum, WalletConnect, or similar frameworks is a plus.
  • Knowledge of development tools and methodologies, including version control systems like Git, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and automated testing frameworks tailored for Android.
  • Experience or prior work in Blockchain and especially the Ethereum ecosystem is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and concisely.
