- Volunteer Coordination: Coordinate and support volunteers in the classroom, ensuring a positive and productive learning experience for all students.
- Communication and Feedback: Establish and maintain ongoing communication and feedback systems with families, teachers, and volunteers to ensure a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Program Evaluation and Improvement: Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making recommendations for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Education and Experience: A strong interest in education and teaching, with a passion for working with students and youth.
- Cultural Competence: Understanding of youth development principles and the ability to relate effectively to diverse communities and demonstrate understanding of cultural diversity.
- Language Skills: Bilingual Spanish/English fluency is highly desirable.
- Certifications and Clearances: TB test clearance and current CPR certification are mandatory prior to hire.
- Competitive Salary: $21.00-$24.00 per hour.
