Job Overview

Stepp's Towing and Heavy Transport is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Rotator Operator to join our team. As a Heavy Duty Rotator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy tow trucks, rollback, and service trucks to efficiently complete assigned jobs.

The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, customer service skills, and problem-solving abilities. Heavy Duty Towing experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy tow trucks, rollback, and service trucks to complete assigned jobs.
  • Respond to Florida's Traffic Incident Management Program, RISC, (Rapid Incident Scene Clearance).
  • Work comfortably and safely at accident scenes in traffic and cooperate well with law enforcement.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers.
  • Operate GPS mapping and lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Work in all weather conditions.

Requirements:

  • Class A CDL License required with 2 years of verifiable experience.
  • Current DOT Medical Card.
  • Registered in the DOT Clearinghouse.
  • Pass background check and drug test.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
