Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to join our team at Visiting Angels of VA. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
  • Develop and implement a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program to ensure a steady flow of qualified candidates.
  • Prepare employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
  • Maintain a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys, scheduling and conducting job evaluations, and preparing pay budgets.
  • Ensure planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees.
  • Maintain employee benefits programs and inform employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends.
  • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements.
  • Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
