Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Clinical Therapist to join our team at UCHealth. As a member of our Virtual Behavioral Health Center, you will provide top-notch behavioral health care to patients in a dynamic and innovative clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement counseling and therapy for assigned patients in individual and group settings.
  • Interview and assess patients, as well as their family members, caregivers, and legal representatives.
  • Determine and provide necessary internal and external services, and participate in case reviews and care conferences to evaluate progress.
  • Assist with discharge planning and processes, including identification of community-based resources and referrals.
  • Collaborate with other members of the care team to assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs and readiness.
  • Utilize teaching methods and referrals to ensure patient and family educational needs are met.
  • Participate in training and education of new staff, students, and interns as assigned.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • State licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), or Licensed Addiction Counselor (ACD), or other licensure/certification approved by department leadership.
