Job Overview

TPI Staffing, Inc is seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team in a repetitive manufacturing shop environment. As an Industrial Painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces through various processes, including shot blasting, sanding, and tape masking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize rail fed continuous shot blaster to prep unpainted surfaces.
  • Utilize pneumatic sander to prep parts for painting.
  • Mask surfaces and components for painting.
  • Apply primer coat and finished topcoats to component parts and assembled finished products using high-volume, low-pressure paint guns and pressure pots.
  • Clean and maintain all painting tools and equipment.
  • Wear and use proper personal protective gear and respirator.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience using paint guns.
  • Experience using conventional paint guns.
  • Experience using pressure pot.
  • Experience working with epoxy paints.
  • Experience working with polyurethane paints.
  • Capable of lifting at least 35 lbs., and able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Pass a drug screening and background check.
