Job Summary:

BFS Companies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering fuel oil, gasoline, and liquefied petroleum gas to various locations in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drive a tanker truck to deliver fuel products to customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  2. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with Department of Transportation regulations.
  3. Load and unload fuel products from the tanker truck, using valves and pumps as necessary.
  4. Record delivery quantities and issue tickets to customers, ensuring accurate documentation and communication.
  5. Perform daily maintenance of the bulk plant and light maintenance on the tanker truck, including washing and other tasks.
  6. Complete required paperwork, including shipping papers and hours of duty reports.
  7. Stay up-to-date on Department of Transportation regulations and emergency response procedures.

Requirements:

  1. 21 years of age.
  2. Commercial driver's license with hazardous materials and tanker endorsements.
  3. Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
  4. Ability to climb up to 15 feet.
