Apparel Hanger Specialist

Position Summary:

The Apparel Hanger Specialist is responsible for efficiently placing sorted garments onto hangers and organizing them on Z racks. This role plays a crucial part in driving sales, as a significant portion of revenue is generated through apparel.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Efficiently hangs items on Z racks after placing them on hangers.
2. Prepares clothing displays in accordance with quality and pricing standards set by the organization.
3. Utilizes pricing equipment, adhesive tags, and tagging tools to ensure accurate pricing of items.
4. Strives to meet or exceed production and quality benchmarks.
5. Completes designated cleaning tasks as part of routine responsibilities.
6. Supports the training of new staff and participants in collaboration with the Workforce Development Department.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Previous experience in retail or sales is advantageous.

Skills and Abilities:

• Capable of standing for extended periods, up to two hours at a time, over an eight-hour shift.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends is required.

Physical Requirements:

The role necessitates the ability to bend, stretch, and lift items weighing up to 40 pounds. Candidates should be comfortable with significant walking or standing and moving heavy boxes and furniture.
