Apparel Hanger Specialist

Position Summary:

The role involves organizing and preparing clothing items for display by placing them on hangers and arranging them on racks. This position plays a crucial role in enhancing the overall sales performance of the organization, particularly in the apparel sector.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Efficiently hangs sorted garments on designated racks.
2. Prepares clothing displays in alignment with the store's quality and pricing guidelines.
3. Utilizes pricing tools and tagging equipment to label items according to established standards.
4. Aims to meet or surpass production and quality benchmarks.
5. Completes assigned cleaning tasks to maintain a tidy work environment.
6. Supports the training of new staff and volunteers in collaboration with the Workforce Development team.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Previous experience in retail or sales is advantageous.

Skills and Abilities:

• Capable of standing for extended periods, up to eight hours.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends is required.

Physical Requirements:

The position requires the ability to bend, stretch, and lift items weighing up to 40 pounds. Frequent walking and standing are necessary, along with the capacity to move large boxes and other heavy materials.
