Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Department Technician to join our team at Trinity Health. As a key member of our emergency department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our nursing staff.

Responsibilities
  • Assist nurses and physicians with patient care procedures in the emergency department
  • Perform basic and complex patient care procedures under the supervision of a Charge Nurse
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital staff
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) preferred
  • One year of experience in an emergency department setting preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • CPR certification at time of hire
  • ACLS certification (Advance Cardiac Life Support) at time of hire or within six months
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within six months to one year of hire
