We are seeking a Radiation Oncology Specialist to join our team at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. As an Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor tenure or term tract, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of cancer treatment.

Role Overview

The Division of Radiation Oncology is committed to providing exceptional patient care while striving to improve care through research for our future patients. You will be part of a dynamic team that focuses on delivering innovative treatments and developing new therapeutic interventions to help prevent and treat cancer.

As a Radiation Oncology Specialist, your duties will include:

  • Clinical service, teaching medical students and Radiation Oncology residents, and participating in clinical trials.
  • Conducting basic science research and working with industry leaders to develop novel treatment techniques.

You will be expected to maintain areas of specialty interest and strive for discoveries in these areas.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A strong background in Radiation Oncology, with board certification or eligibility.
  • Eligibility to be licensed in Kentucky.
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate attitude towards all patients.

The Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Louisville offers a wide range of advanced treatment techniques, including CyberKnife radiosurgery, three-dimensional conformal radiation therapy, and intensity modulated radiation therapy.

We are a full-member site for NRG Oncology and actively participate in cooperative group trial enrollment. Our faculty focus on providing exceptional patient care while striving to improve care through research for our future patients.
