In this position, you will be tasked with creating innovative, suitable, and cost-efficient designs, drawings, and specifications within your discipline for designated projects. You will uphold professional registration and endorse documents prepared under your guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engages in project strategy discussions within the discipline, formulates design concepts, recommends systems, produces pricing and proposal documentation, and outlines specifications.
- Conducts research, documentation, and ensures compliance with all relevant codes, ordinances, standards, and regulations pertaining to discipline design.
- Oversees the technical efforts of junior engineers, designers, technicians, and/or interns assigned to the project.
- Identifies the foundational design for hydrology, hydraulics, site utilities, and erosion sediment control design strategies.
- Capable of generating clear, comprehensive, and concise stormwater, water demand, and wastewater calculation reports.
- Supports Construction Project Managers, Superintendents, and Subcontractors in interpreting and clarifying construction documents and responding to information requests.
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 4 years of civil engineering design experience.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).
- Proficient in civil design software, such as Civil 3D, ICPR, SSA, etc.

Physical Requirements:
This role necessitates ordinary ambulatory skills to visit various locations, along with the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights ranging from 10-50 pounds. Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity in arms, hands, and fingers are required, including the ability to grasp, as well as visual acuity for using a keyboard, operating equipment, and reading application/form information. The associate frequently needs to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
