About the Role:

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a skilled Per Diem Speech Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work closely with patients experiencing serious impairments, helping them connect with the world around them.

Our team uses evidence-based practice and available technology to address swallowing, cognitive, and communication issues, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care and the best outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in the adult acute care setting with various diagnoses and patient complexity.
  • Provide coverage on the inpatient rehabilitation unit and outpatient settings as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective treatment plans.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
  • Licensure as a Speech Pathologist by the State of New York within one year of hire.
  • Certification in Speech-Language Pathology by the American Speech and Hearing Association within one year of hire.
