Civil Engineer Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant, Project Civil Engineer to provide engineering services during construction for one of the region's marquee projects, the multi-billion-dollar Westside Purple Line Extension (WPLE).
Key Responsibilities- Support the Section 3 project team with review and preparation of responses to contractor submittals, requests for information (RFIs), and requests for change (RFCs) with respect to technical merit and contract compliance.
- Assist in performance of engineering analyses and preparation of design plans, specifications, cost estimates, schedules, reports, and presentations to support project tasks.
- Prepare project change notices, change orders, contract modifications.
- Participate in project meetings and prepare meeting notes.
- Prepare project transmittals and correspondence.
- Perform occasional site visits to investigate, evaluate, or document project conditions.
- Collaborate with team of interdisciplinary design and construction professionals to complete project tasks and objectives.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or closely related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of relevant post education experience in engineering discipline and prior civil design experience.
- Engineer in Training Certification.
- Knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, process, design/build, and the application to permitting and project work-related issues.
- Working knowledge of general civil engineering design and site development including street work, demolition, grading, drainage, paving, utilities, landscaping, street lighting, permitting, traffic control, signalization, striping, and restoration.

Expected Salary: $87,700 - $125,400
