About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer Project Manager to join our Land Development team in downtown Los Angeles. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing existing projects, including staffing, budgeting, financial planning, scheduling, and cost estimating.

Responsibilities
  • Lead business development efforts and pursue new opportunities
  • Provide technical oversight and review of existing project activities
  • Design experience focused on grading, utilities, low impact development, drainage, and public improvements
  • Manage staff, budgeting, scheduling, and cost estimating
  • Review client service needs and contracts
  • Act as client advocate while maintaining client satisfaction
  • Assist with entitlement process and permit processing for development projects and coordinate with land use consultants
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Professional registration (PE license) as a Civil Engineer in the state of California
  • Minimum of 3+ years' experience as a project manager in civil engineering design with private development, facilities, infrastructure, and public works design projects
  • Ability to manage multi-discipline engineering projects, clients, and staff; set fees and negotiate contracts
  • Prior experience delivering projects for private developers in Southern California and surrounding area municipalities, agencies, and institutions
  • Expert technical knowledge of engineering concepts, practices, and procedures
