Role Overview: Speech/Language Pathologist

  • Evaluate speech and language capabilities, developmental progress, articulation skills, and voice and fluency challenges of individuals served.
  • Implement and oversee speech therapy interventions utilizing techniques that support the rehabilitation of individuals facing functional speech, language, voice, and swallowing difficulties.
  • Analyze medical histories, conduct assessments, and formulate therapy treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Identify and devise intervention strategies that promote effective communication.
  • Educate individuals we serve, their family members, and primary caregivers to ensure the maintenance or enhancement of optimal functioning levels.
  • Ensure seamless coordination of home care services for individuals served.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Speech Therapy or Speech/Language Pathology.
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Speech Therapist.
  • Current state licensure/certification as a Speech Therapist.
  • Valid driver's license in good standing.
  • Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
  • Successful completion of local and/or state background checks.
  • Strong communication skills to foster relationships.
  • A dependable, responsible demeanor and a compassionate approach.
