Job Title: Processing Lab Technician

Curaleaf is a leading cannabis company that is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive experience for all its team members. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Processing Lab Technician to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Processing Lab Technician will assist the Lab Manager in carrying out day-to-day tasks, including prepping chemicals, preventative maintenance, calibration, tracking, documenting, packaging, labeling, and cleaning, in accordance with state regulations and standards set by Curaleaf.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the workspace is clean and organized, including cleaning glassware, wiping down workstations, and mopping.
  • Track data through paperwork and electronic batch record systems.
  • Use internal tracking systems, including BioTrack and METRC.
  • Increase operational efficiency and reduce waste through ownership, teamwork, communication, and collaboration.
  • Perform in-process and post-process quality assurance testing and conducting visual inspections to ensure all products meet or exceed Curaleaf's specifications and patient expectations.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with proper weighing, data recording, product tracking, and security throughout all processes.
  • Operate in an efficient manner that complies with all OSHA regulations, Curaleaf, and State required Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Ensure each product is properly labeled in compliance with state regulations.
  • Take instructions and help out on tasks delegated by laboratory management.
  • Prepare materials to be processed in accordance with daily tasks.
  • Ensure consistency and efficacy of product through quality control testing.
  • Perform all other assigned duties required to ensure a clean and safe production facility.
  • Understand and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and all safety procedures to ensure the highest level of safety.
  • Complete the sanitation of all production equipment and tools, including workspaces, equipment, containers, and appliances.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills to interact with team members.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Understanding of weights and measurements.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt.
  • Experience with safe handling and proper disposal of harmful chemicals and hazardous waste.
  • Adaptable and able to work in an ever-changing environment.
  • Previous agriculture or manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work independently throughout a workday with given directive.
  • Ability to travel approximately 5%.
