Key Responsibilities:

  • Record, edit, and enter all new orders received via various channels.
  • Correspond with customers to include order acknowledgment, changes, status, and expedites.
  • Provide customer quotes including pricing and availability (delivery).
  • Enter return goods authorizations.
  • Proactive outgoing customer touches.
  • Proactive follow-up on order status and on-time-delivery.
  • Reporting on order management as required or requested.

Maintaining Customer Relationships and Sales Data:

  • Maintain the customer relationship and sales data including pricing changes, demographic changes, and product changes.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation and follow procedures as specified by supervisor/manager and company policy.

Requirements:

  • Five plus years of customer service experience.
  • Highly organized, detailed-oriented, and ability to multi-task in a busy environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or related software.
  • Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonal.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and/or experience within an ERP system such as JD Edwards.
  • Individuals can be trained to our products, ordering system, and customer needs with a strong desire to learn.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
