Job Description

Corporate Overview: As a part of SummitHR, one of the largest title companies in the United States, you'll be working with a friendly and professional team that prioritizes employee growth and career development.

Salary and Benefits: Our comprehensive compensation package includes a competitive salary of $70,000 - $80,000 per year, plus generous benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Job Responsibilities: The successful candidate will review closing statements, ALTA's, payoffs, commitments, etc., for accuracy and compliance. They will balance files, initiate wires, and cut checks for residential refinance closings and commercial cell tower transactions.

Key Functions:

  • Closing Statement Review: Approve ALTA'S, T-64's: CD's, and settlement statements, loan packages, and other documents as necessary, in accordance with closing instructions.
  • Title Insurance Commitments: Review title insurance commitments to ensure all title exceptions have been cleared.
  • Settlement Statement Balance: Balance settlement statements and prepare files for funding.
  • Disburse Proceeds: Disburse all proceeds on closing files and keep accurate records of invoices/demands for escrow files.
  • Payoff Demands: Review payoff demands, calculate per diem and other charges.
  • Company Service Fees: Verify company service fees to be charged to customers at closing.
  • File Management: Maintain organized, complete escrow files.
  • Closing Calendar Management: Manage closing calendar.

Requirements and Qualifications:

We're looking for an individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook. Prioritization and multitasking skills are essential for handling multiple projects.
