Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and passionate individual to join our team at the Blood Bank Donor Center in Abilene, TX. As a Blood Bank Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our donor collection process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure an adequate and safe blood supply by soliciting and collecting donations.
  • Follow established safety guidelines and regulatory standards during all procedures.
  • Accurately input donor information into computer systems.
  • Maintain donor logs and organize workspaces per OSHA and NIOSH standards.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years experience.
  • Licenses/Certifications:
  • CPR certification (must be obtained within 90 days of hire).
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in data entry and record keeping.
  • Ability to work in compliance with safety and health regulations.
  • Willingness to contribute as a designated driver for donor operations.
Compensation Package

The compensation package includes a competitive salary of $$34,000 annually, including a $2,000 sign-on bonus and a $5,000 relocation bonus for candidates 200+ miles away.
