Hicuity Health is a leading provider of telemedicine services, and we are seeking a skilled Patient Safety Specialist to join our team.

This role involves providing continuous virtual observation to patients who require frequent or continual surveillance and interaction due to medical, psychiatric, and/or safety reasons.

The successful candidate will work closely with the bedside patient care team to foster a safe, comfortable, and secure patient environment.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing continuous observation to assigned patients using in-room audio/visual equipment
  • Assisting in calming and/or reorienting patients as indicated
  • Collaborating with the bedside team to establish a safe, comfortable patient environment
  • Reporting any and all activity or environmental hazards to the bedside licensed personnel
  • Collecting and documenting clear, accurate documentation of patient activity and interactions
  • Communicating all pertinent information about assigned patients to ensure safe patient care

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who is able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of patient safety protocols and be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
