At Williamson Health in Franklin, Tennessee, we are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncology Nurse to join our team. As a Medical Oncology Nurse at Williamson Health, you will have the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility with a talented team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, implement, and plan nursing care in a timely and accurate manner
  • Provide critical nursing care in a variety of settings, ensuring a high level of patient assessment, treatment planning, and care delivery
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare teams while actively engaging in ongoing training and certifications to enhance care quality
  • Maintain a healing and therapeutic environment for patients and families
  • Perform comprehensive assessments on all patients within the appropriate time of admission
  • Plan the patient's care on an individual basis, identifying problems/needs, nursing diagnosis, standards of care/practice, interventions consistent with identified problems and attainable outcomes
  • Document accurately and timely
  • Accept charge responsibilities and assigns staff with consideration of patient condition and care requirement, acuity and complexity of patient's condition

Requirements:

  • Earned a nursing diploma or degree from a college or university
  • Licensed in the State of Tennessee
  • BLS within 90 days of hire
  • Basic arrhythmia within 6 months of hire (for certain units)
  • AACN, CCRN or CCP certification within two years of hire (for critical care)
  • ONS chemo/immunotherapy certification within one year of hire (for oncology)
  • PALS within 6 months of hire (for pediatric units)
  • Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certification within 6 months of hire (for certain units)

$65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
