About the Position

We're seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in New York, responsible for developing and utilizing monitoring tools to safeguard our employees, data, and infrastructure. This role involves handling incident response and remediation when threats are detected.

Our Team

Our Cybersecurity team is comprised of experienced programmers and security experts dedicated to maintaining a secure environment. We stay informed about the latest developments in cybersecurity and apply this knowledge to resolve issues effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply a methodical approach to investigate and resolve security incidents.
  • Act as an ambassador of best practices within the firm, promoting good personal cybersecurity hygiene and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
About You
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (graduating between December 2024 and Summer 2025).
  • Avid follower of cybersecurity news.
  • Strong programming skills with high potential and an aptitude for learning.
  • Comfortable using version control systems and familiar with threat modeling.
  • Able to clearly communicate your understanding of tradeoffs and decisions made in your own life.
  • Adaptable and able to make challenging decisions under pressure.
  • Humble attitude and willingness to ask questions and admit mistakes.
  • Positive, collaborative attitude and curious problem-solving skills.
