Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Oncology Nurse Clinician to join our team at the Huntley clinic. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in coordinating patient care and providing exceptional nursing services.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and reassess patients and families to identify ongoing care needs and initiate referrals to appropriate resources.
  • Collect and analyze data to coordinate multidisciplinary care and appointments, triaging information and scheduling patients accordingly.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and ancillary staff to create a plan of care that indicates collaboration and communication.
  • Provide education to patients, families, and caregivers regarding diagnosis, process, therapies, and testing.
  • Assist with transitions of care and providers, promoting a positive work environment and respect for other clinical disciplines.
  • Delegate tasks to other care providers to facilitate meeting patient needs in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse program with an RN License in the state of Illinois.
  • Current nursing experience within the past 5 years.
  • American Heart Association BLS CPR Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
  • Oncology Certified Nurse.
