About the JobNurse First is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cath Lab Technologist to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring patient safety.
Responsibilities- Assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures, including coronary and peripheral angioplasty, stenting, and other cardiovascular interventions.
- Maintain and troubleshoot cath lab equipment, including angiographic equipment, fluoroscopy units, and other medical devices.
- Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Monitor patients during procedures, reporting any changes or concerns to the physician.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Current certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) or a Certified Cardiovascular Technologist (CCT).
- At least 2 years of experience in a cath lab setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
