Job Summary:
TotalMed Allied is seeking a skilled Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting. As a Cath Lab Tech, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the catheterization laboratory, including coronary and peripheral angiography, angioplasty, and stenting.
- Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including fluoroscopy and imaging systems.
- Collaborate with cardiologists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and implement patient education plans to promote healthy lifestyle choices and disease management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize laboratory operations.
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a catheterization laboratory setting.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
