Cardiology Nurse Specialist

Northtowns Cardiology is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in our fast-paced outpatient Cardiology practice. As a Cardiology Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting patient screenings, administering medications, and reviewing medical records for quality assurance measures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient screenings, including taking a complete history and systems review
- Utilize the EMR system and retrieve medical information
- Administer medications with appropriate documentation
- Review medical records for quality assurance measures
- Schedule patient appointments and have knowledge of the phone system
- Read holter monitors and perform stress testing
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited RN program
- NYS License with no restrictions
- CPR certification preferred
- Compassion and excellent patient care
- General computer literacy with the ability to enter medications, vitals, allergies, histories, etc.
- Ability to respond quickly to a medical emergency
