Echocardiography Specialist

Job Summary:

As an Echocardiography Specialist at Kaleida Health, you will perform medically prescribed echo cardiogram procedures, including transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms. You will work with a team-oriented, patient-focused delivery of care model and assist in other areas of the Noninvasive Cardiology Laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform echo cardiogram procedures on patients of all ages, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
* Participate in a team-oriented, patient-focused delivery of care model and assist in other areas of the Noninvasive Cardiology Laboratory.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely results.

Requirements:

* AAS - Associate of Applied Science or AA in Echocardiography or Cardiovascular Technology required.
* 1 year of experience in a Hospital-based environment preferred.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) within 6 months required.
* One of the following upon hire required: Reg Diag Card Sonograph (RDCS), Reg Cardiac Sonographer (RCS), Can Reg Card Sonograph (CRCS), or Reg Congen Card Sonogr (RCCS).
