Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Specialist to join our team at Redwood Family Care Network. This role involves providing essential support services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the comfort of their own homes.

About the Role

This is a part-time opportunity, approximately 20 hours per week, with flexible scheduling to accommodate various shifts. As a Personal Support Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing companionship through engaging activities and building meaningful relationships
  • Assisting with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation, housekeeping, and personal care
  • Transportation support to ensure clients can participate in community activities and appointments
  • Maintaining accurate records of client needs and progress
Requirements & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fully vaccinated against Covid-19 (or an approved exemption)
