Job Title:

Adjunct Instructor of Computer Science and Engineering

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified adjunct faculty member to teach computer science and engineering courses at North Central College. The successful candidate will have a strong background in computer science and engineering, as well as excellent teaching and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach computer science and engineering courses, including object-oriented programming, introduction to programming, computer and network security, and intro to website development
  • Develop and implement course materials, including syllabi, assignments, and assessments
  • Provide feedback and guidance to students, including office hours and online support
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development
Requirements:
  • Master's degree or significant industry experience in computing
  • College-level teaching experience preferred
  • Strong background in computer science and engineering
  • Excellent teaching and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with diverse student populations and communities
  • Knowledge of computer science and engineering curriculum and pedagogy
