Abrazo Cave Creek Hosp is seeking a skilled Cardiac Nurse to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Cardiac Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized, age-specific, and direct bedside nursing care based on the nursing process and patient needs.
- Coordinate care planning with other disciplines and act as a supervisor by assessing, planning, delegating, and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees for the provision of patient care.
- Systematically evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to identify patient goals and participate in hourly rounding.
- Observe safety guidelines and safe work practices, and may be asked to be in charge for a shift(s).
- Supervise other members of the healthcare team.
- License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
- CPR and ACLS certifications as applicable by Facility/by Department.
- 1 year of acute care experience, with a minimum of 2 years of current Level III NICU experience including neonatal ventilator.
- Preferred education: BSN.
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work with team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with occasional periods of above-average pressure.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strongly preferred experience in CVICU or ICU or Min 2 years in Cardiac Stepdown.
