Job Summary

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector I to join our team at STAAR Surgical. As a Quality Control Inspector I, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform functional testing and data calculations for injector cartridges.
  • Conduct QA review of Device History Records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain Device History Records in a timely and organized manner.
  • Inspect, sort, and disposition returned product from receiving, mail, customer service, or other sources.
  • Perform receiving inspection of raw materials and components, including review of associated forms and documents.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Participate in quarantine and release processes for nonconforming product.
  • Assist in completing required documents, including nonconforming product reports, supply corrective actions, and deviations.
  • Monitor manufacturing and quality environments by reviewing temperature and Magnehelic charts and logs.
  • Complete transactions into electronic databases as required.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with computers.
  • Inspection experience.
  • Experience working in a clean room environment.
  • Experience working in a QC lab.
Skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently.
  • Ability to learn quickly and independently.
  • Ability to learn in a team environment and be detail-oriented.

Pay range is $20 to $23 per hour, with final compensation dependent on experience.
