CDL Class B Driver with Tanker Endorsement

Job Summary:

The CDL Class B Driver with Tanker Endorsement will provide support to our field crews by delivering machinery and equipment in a timely manner. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Properly couple and uncouple lowbed trailers
  • Transport materials and equipment as directed
  • Observe all traffic laws and maintain safe operations given road, traffic, and weather conditions
  • Safely load, secure, and unload construction equipment, generators, trenches, large objects, etc. without assistance
  • Maintain a clean and presentable truck and trailer
  • Report any mechanical issues to the Equipment Manager in a timely manner
  • Accurately complete required paperwork daily
  • Must be willing to attend classes and training provided by the company
  • Perform physical tasks such as cleaning, removing debris, loading, and unloading materials
  • Assist skilled craftspeople with their duties

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • CDL Class B with Tanker Endorsement driver's license required
  • Must pass DOT physical and drug test and company background check
  • Prior experience required
  • Must be willing to work outdoors in any weather conditions
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Flexibility regarding schedule, working early and/or extended, on-call hours, weekends and holidays when required
  • Candidate must be able to tolerate moderate to loud noise level, (PPE will be provided, including hearing protection as required), long hours driving, sitting, walking, and laboring outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Must be able to frequently lift to 60 pounds
